The Winds Experts International Educational Campaign offers a free educational activity for 10- to 12-year-olds in the three participating countries: Spain, UK and Poland.
Through educational videos and state-of-the-art interactive material , created by a specialised team, which we make available to teachers.
Each session is planned for a duration of approximately 45 minutes , so you can choose when and how to share them with the students.
The campaign consists of two educational sessions for which teachers receive an access password to an interactive guide in which you can find links to all the educational materials necessary to carry out the sessions.
In addition, we propose an international educational competition among all registered centres in the three participating countries.
A quality educational campaign, with an international dimension and in which participants feel like protagonists, participating in a fun contest in which they can win fantastic prizes in a group.
We reach the students through a very fun methodology
We want to motivate students in the learning process, by using gamification as a first-rate educational tool and putting into practice what has been learned in a creative way.
An educational video – starring a fun educator – shows the students the origin and the current reality of the problem of climate change and presents renewable energy as a very important part of its solution.
They can also put what they have learned into practice through complementary resources and teaching materials!
During the second session’s educational video, the educator delves into renewable energy and specifically into the interesting world of offshore wind energy, showing in a very attractive way what it consists of and its advantages.
As a final challenge, boys and girls will venture into an exciting educational breakout mission related to all the topics covered in the videos and in which they have to overcome different tests, demonstrating their skills and knowledge.
A very exciting way to learn and have fun!

At the end of the campaign, you can participate in an educational contest in which, through the construction of a wind turbine with reused materials, the knowledge gained during the sessions will be strengthened.
The wind turbines will be made in groups. Each group will have to make a video that shows the process of creating their wind turbine and explain the steps and why their proposal should be a winner.
The best wind turbines will receive great prizes for the participating group!
The wind has no limits, do you? Dare to design and launch a replica of an offshore wind turbine with reused materials, and if it works? Well, great! You will have become highly innovative engineers.
Are you able to create your own wind turbine? Come on, the challenge is beginning!
Visit the Ocean Winds YouTube channel where you can see the projects submitted by the schools.
Take a look and get inspired!
The winning team from UK will compete with the winners from the other countries. The best project will get:
